Our story
A team that has managed cybersecurity for Swiss SMEs for 20 years — and started digitalising artisans along the way.
In 2005, MADACODA set up in Antananarivo to remotely manage IT support and cybersecurity for Swiss and French SMEs, firms and sole traders — a model that seemed risky at the time, when "working remotely with Madagascar" didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Twenty years on, the company is still here, with the same team and several clients supported since the very beginning: the best proof that remote support can be just as reliable as a local agency, when it’s backed by real rigour.
Managing cybersecurity and sensitive data for Swiss SMEs for 20 years leaves no room for approximation: backups, audits, uptime commitments, confidentiality. That’s the same rigour — not the kind you get from a budget provider, but the kind owed to clients who can’t afford downtime — that we now apply to a CRM or a showcase website, even for a sole trader.
Working with these SMEs, we spotted a closely related need that had never been addressed: that of artisans and small businesses, often too small to interest a classic web agency and too busy to learn complicated software. The result: quotes scribbled in a notebook, appointments booked by text message, customer records scattered across three tools — while more digitalised competitors respond faster and look more credible on Google.
We know what "a team based in Madagascar" can make people wary of — which is exactly why we never sell anything we haven’t used ourselves internally for years: the same CRM/ERP stack runs our own invoicing and our own customer tracking before it’s ever offered to anyone else. Our rates are more accessible than a French or Swiss agency for one concrete reason — the cost of living, and therefore of skilled labour — never because we cut corners on quality.
That observation is what led to our dedicated support for artisans and small SMEs: the same rigour we bring to our largest clients, with a French-speaking contact in France (Annecy) and a team that replies directly on WhatsApp — and doesn’t disappear once your website or CRM goes live, because we’ve been here since 2005, not for the last six months.

“After starting out as an IT technician in Annecy and then Geneva, I moved to Madagascar in 2005 to set up this IT support and cybersecurity business, serving Swiss and French SMEs. MADACODA is the natural next step: the same rigour, applied to digitalising artisans and small businesses.”
